Impactful Charity Initiatives For Holistic Wellbeing

Destiny Doctors Uganda

After hearing about the Mental Health challeneges of poor working conditions, and the high suicide rates of doctors in Uganda, we decided to launch a project called Preventing and Relieving Stress And Anxiety Within The Medical Environment. Our very first online zoom training session was attended by 150+ Ugandan doctors across 10 different hospitals in various areas of Uganda, in an attempt to combat the mental health crisis. Our vision and aspiration is to deliver more stress and anxiety prevention management training programs and workshops, so that we can equip staff with coping mechanisms to deal with the pressures of their roles, both within the medical environment and outside of it. We feel that, fostering a sense of teamwork and camaraderie among colleagues can create a supportive network that helps individuals navigate challenging situations more effectively. As a result of the initial training we have now partnered with Destiny Doctors on Uganda, in order to make this program free to all struggling doctors and clinicians in Africa. Thank You Mama Organisation Uganda

We teamed up with Thank You Mama Event in Uganda in an effort to address the unique health education needs of women in slums and rural villages across Africa. Our sister company Venus Health Academy has been conducting women’s natural health seminars in Uganda since 2018. Seminars were delivered in the slums of Kamwokya and the rural village of Bukwe in Mokono District. We have so far helped over 1000+ women and their families. These seminars are aimed at educating women on topics such as mental health, reproductive health, maternal care, nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention. By providing information on natural remedies and traditional practices, these seminars have empowered women to take charge of their health and well-being in resource-limited settings. Our annual fundraisers are aimed at providing packages of basic food an neccessities to struggling mother and grandmothers in the slum areas of kampala. FIND OUT MORE...

Megan organisation is an orphanage and a community based organisation supporting vulnerable children and their families in the slums of Katwe, Kampala, Uganda.
